Rock and mineral deposits transported and ground by glaciers during the last ice age were deposited in moraines, where Frankia Glacial Rock Dust is collected from. Contains Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Manganese, and a broad spectrum of other elements. Frankia Glacial Rock Dust is screened to a fine particle size to maximize surface area and availability to plants and soil microbes. Glacial Rock Dust can be added directly to compost piles as a microbial enhancer. Glacial Rock Dust will not burn your plants.

What is it and where is it from?

Glacial Rock Dust is derived from pulverized and screened glacial moraines in British Columbia. A variety of glacial moraines were sampled until we found one with the combination of nutrients and low heavy metals we were looking for.
